Membership information!

Membership in the Lane County Beekeepers Association is open to anyone who is interested in bees and beekeeping. You do not need to own bees to join.  

Advantages of becoming a member of the Lane County Beekeepers Association includes:

  • Belonging to one of the largest beekeeping associations in the State of Oregon.

  • Meeting friendly and helpful beekeepers.

  • Having the opportunity to discuss topics of interest to beekeepers - hobbyist, and commercial alike as well as the general public at monthly meetings.

  • Receiving a monthly newsletter which includes free member bee related ads.

  • Receiving discounts on beekeeping supplies.

  • Receiving discounts on bee magazines.

  • Free use of the club's honey extractor.

  • Use of the club's lending library which includes bee related videos and books.

  • Attending the annual Field Day in June, Club Picnic in July and participating in the Lane County Fair in August as well as a one day Bee School in the spring.

  • Participating in other community events to promote the club and educate the public about honeybees.

Membership is for the calendar year. Membership in the Lane County Beekeepers Association costs $12.00 yearly.  Dues are prorated after March for NEW MEMBERS ONLY!

To become a member all you need t do is pay your membership dues at the next LCBA monthly meeting or remit them to LCBA Treasurer Nancy Ograin.

We always look forward to new faces in the club.

Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:30 P.M. at the EWEB building. Door's open at 7:00pm for the early bee's. (no meeting in December)
