Membership
Membership in the Lane County Beekeepers Association is open to anyone who is interested in bees and beekeeping. You do not need to own bees to join.
Advantages of becoming a member of the Lane County Beekeepers Association include the following:
- Belonging to one of the largest beekeeping associations in the State of Oregon.
- Automatic membership in the Oregon State Beekeepers Association with access to their quarterly "Beeline" newsletter as well as reduced fees to the annual OSBA conference.
- Meeting friendly and helpful beekeepers.
- Having the opportunity to discuss topics of interest to beekeepers - hobbyist and commercial alike, as well as the general public at monthly meetings.
- Receiving a monthly newsletter which includes free member bee related ads.
- Receiving discount on American Bee Journal magazine.
- Free use of the club's honey extractor.
- Use of the club's lending library which includes bee related videos and books.
- Attending the annual Field Day in June, participating in the Lane County Fair in July.
- Participating in other community events to promote the club and educate the public about honeybees.
Membership Dues for 2026 are $30 per Household per calendar year (January –Dec). Pay online by credit card. To pay by check, complete form.
